Melbourne, Australia |
These photos were taken last year in July-August. Me and my husband stayed at Citigate Hotel Melbourne (it is now managed by Double Tree-Hilton) on Flinders Street. The weather was quite cold, almost 2' C on our last 2 days and I can't stand to go outside without putting my thermal + sweater + coat on. We had 1 day trip outside the city, the Great Ocean Road, and had the opportunity to visit the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Cape Otway. You can find information and arrange your 1 day trip through Melbourne Visitor Centre, which located on the Federation Square. You like art? Then you should go to the National Gallery of Victoria, there was a Italian Masterpieces from Spain's Royal Court when we went there. For photographers, you definitely should go to Hosier Lane. For couples, it's quite cute to put your love lock on the Southgate Love Lock Bridge across Yarra River. Last but not least, we went to Brighton Beach in order to take a photo on its famous bathing house. Unfortunately, it was rainy and windy. So, we took some pictures there--fully clothed with our coat and boots as you can see below!
